Collective Quran Recital

Collective Quran Recital

Hounslow Jamia Masjid will be holding its THIRD collective recital of the entire Holy Quran at the graveyard itself – one juz each and with a collective Dua for the Muslims buried there

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will receive one good deed as ten good deeds like it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is one letter, but rather Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Mim is a letter.”

On the Passing of Queen Elizabeth II

The Board of Hounslow Jamia Masjid & Islamic Centre extends its sympathies to His Majesty King Charles III and the Royal Family on the passing of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II

Her extraordinary reign was one full or respect and dignity, which has been echoed by all since her passing. Her profound sense of duty inspired unity in our country, a country of diverse races and religions.

The community of Hounslow only recently joined in the celebrations for her remarkable 70 year reign with events commemorating the Jubilee. An achievement most likely never to be seen again in our lifetimes

Her strength and resilience in times of personal grief, with the loss of her dear husband and before that other members of her family including her mother is a lesson to us all. That we are tested with the loss of life and health

Her passing marks the end of an era. We hope the country will continue to receive the unparalleled service and dedication in this new dawn
