Sunday 17th July 2022 saw our annual Eid Mela.

Stalls of food, clothing, jewellery, toys, fun fair rides and much more were all present in our car park.

Despite the heat the community came and enjoyed the festivities just a week after the day of Eid itself

Hounslow Jamia Masjid recognised the retiring headmaster of the neighbouring secondary school to the Mosque, Mr Pattar who served the school for 26 years.

In his time, he implemented an additional 5 minute lunch break for Muslim students on Friday to allow them to return without compromising their lesson time and has also been a great supporter of our projects

We wish him a well deserved retirement!

On Sunday 24th July Hounslow Jamia Masjid hosted a charity football tournament raising funds for the people of Yemen

12 teams participated. The winners of  the tournament at Goals Isleworth were Team Spice Village FC who competed through a group stage, quarter final, semi final and final

£600 was raised for the people of Yemen

Trophy was presented by the deputy mayor of Hounslow with other distinguished personalities in attendance
